You learnt Facial Anatomy, Product Science and Complication Management but unless you also studied advertising law, your website or marketing could contain words or phrases that are banned. The CAP Code regulates what's published, not what you meant to say. Our automated scan audits your public site against key CAP Code and ASA failure points in seconds, highlighting high-risk language before regulators doOur FREE scan will check your site for banned material and give you its findings in seconds, giving you chance to rectify it before the regulator spots it, a competitor reports it, or an automated bot finds it. Compliance touches everything a practice does with information — what you notice, what patients tell you, what you say back to the world, and what you can prove happened. Four domains, not four separate products.
Noticing. Patterns, trends, spotting it before it becomes a problem.
Receiving. What patients tell you, including what they imply rather than say.
What goes back out. Responses, replies, and everything you publish or advertise. This is the one this tool reads.
Evidence. Whether you can prove any of the above happened.
One note with a documentation gap is a Tuesday. The same gap on eleven notes over three months is a pattern nobody has time to notice while they're also running a clinic. Record Monkey looks across everything you've logged — notes, complaints, medicine records — and surfaces what's recurring before it becomes the thing an inspector finds first.
"This is what happens when nobody chooses to look."
"I didn't see the brand name restrictions."
Everyone can see your booking page. Including the person who reports you.
"I didn't hear the advertising rules."
The CAP code was published whether you read it or not. It doesn't do call and response.
"I didn't think booking menus counted."
Linking "Botox" to a checkout button is, in law, advertising a prescription-only medicine to the public. The internet does not grade on intent.
"I didn't write down our compliance checks."
If it isn't in the notes, it didn't happen. Ask anyone who's stood in front of a tribunal.
Now choose the record that proves you got there safely.
Let's be clear about what an insurance policy actually does. It cannot insure you against a criminal record. It cannot stop a prosecution. It cannot save your NMC PIN, your GMC registration, or your GDC number if you're convicted. In a strict-liability offence, "I didn't know" carries no legal weight whatsoever — an uncomfortable sentence, which is exactly why we only need you to read it once.
We built Record Monkey to catch the things you're too busy saving faces to notice. Our Namespotting scanner checks your public site for the criminal exposure gaps currently sitting there in plain view — before a competitor finds them, an auditor finds them, or a very bored ex-patient does.

Our engine checked your site against 39 known regulatory and CAP code failure points. Here's the first thing it found.
Your scan found 3 more issues on this site. This scan is free — the trade-off isn't money, it's an email address. Give us one and we'll send you the complete report: every flagged gap, in the same detail as the one above, plus the clean-up action for each one.
Submitting sends this report to the email above, plus occasional follow-ups about these specific findings (e.g. a reminder if they're still live, or how to fix them) — that's the trade-off, not a separate signup.
Visible copy, page titles, headings, image alt text and file names, link text, URLs, and any countdown/urgency widgets in the markup. The rules reach all of it — the ASA has said alt text and hashtags are part of the ad, and so does this tool.
Where a phrase sits matters more than the phrase. A price mentioned near a prescription-only medicine is treated differently from the same price in an unrelated paragraph — that's what the proximity checks are for, not just keyword matching.
Three registers, never blurred. Prohibited by law is a genuine statute breach. Breaches the advertising code is CAP-code/ASA territory — real, enforced, but not a criminal offence in itself. Worth a look may be perfectly fine in context, and says so.
What it doesn't do: judge your paid ad targeting settings (that lives in Meta/Google's own platform, not your page), or do real image forensics on before/after photos (that needs a vision model, not text) — it flags likely candidates from filenames and captions instead, honestly labelled as a proxy, not a confirmed finding.
We don't interpret your insurance policy — nobody wants a software company's opinion on indemnity law, least of all your broker. We act as a highlighter with better reading comprehension than anyone has left by 9pm.
Drop in your policy. We pull out the exact clauses where your documentation obligations are vague, and generate a copy-paste email your broker actually has to answer properly — in writing. Once they confirm what counts as sufficient documentation, you're covered, properly, by the people whose actual job it is to be right about this. We load those confirmed rules straight into your iPad Note Co-Pilot, so you never have to think about the exact clause again.
The drafted email unlocks with a subscription — this is a paid tool, not part of the free scan.
Once your site's locked, Record Monkey moves in-clinic. It runs quietly on your iPad at the chair while you write, checking your phrasing in real time against the rules your broker just confirmed in writing. No new admin — it rides along with the notes you're already typing.
An edited note is a dead note. Go back and "tidy up" a record after a complaint lands, and you've handed the other side a tampering allegation — game over on credibility, whatever actually happened in the room.
The moment you close a session, Record Monkey locks it and timestamps it with a SHA-256 signature. Nobody edits it after that — not you, not us, not a very persuasive lawyer.
If something comes up weeks later, you don't touch the original. You add a new, dated follow-up note linked to it. One click produces a courtroom-ready PDF timeline nobody can credibly argue with.
These same locked records also power your Review Defence File, further down — one vault, two uses.
Underwriters don't run on memory. They run on paper. Before you send a written statement to your insurer, paste the draft here. We scan it for factual claims and make you prove each one against something that was actually written down at the time — not reconstructed at 9pm from vibes.
A one-star review lands, it's unfair, and you know exactly why — but patient confidentiality means you can't say a word about it in public, even to correct something blatantly untrue. Every other business can defend itself in the comments. You can't. That's not a flaw in your professionalism; it's the law working correctly. It just leaves you standing there while a stranger reads a false account of your clinic and believes it.
Log the review the moment you see it, and Record Monkey drafts your response before you've had time to get defensive about it.
Flag: If the claim is serious or specific enough to meet the platform's own removal criteria — "Worth challenging — consider requesting removal." You decide whether to act on it.
You find out about the bad review the same moment we do. The reply's already sitting there waiting for you to read and send.
Botulinum toxin, filler, Hyalase — every prescription-only medicine you administer gets logged with its batch number, expiry date, and the face-to-face consultation that authorised it. Record Monkey checks each entry against the rules that actually get clinics in trouble: no consultation on file for a POM, treatment inside the mandatory cooling-off window, filler logged with no reversal agent in date.
Every entry gets an instant PASS / WARNING / FAIL, so gaps get caught the day they happen — not the day an inspector asks for the log.
Record Monkey Checker is a browser extension that sits quietly inside whatever you already use to write notes — Software4Dentists, Dentally, or your own booking system — and checks your wording as you type, the same rules as everywhere else in Record Monkey. It only turns on when you click it for that tab; it doesn't watch everything by default.
Currently rolling out to practices on a paid plan — ask us to set it up for your EMR rather than searching for it on the Chrome Web Store, it's not a public listing yet.
Select the plan that matches your clinic. Every tier includes the core secure infrastructure and the medicine & batch compliance log — continuous website monitoring is launching soon for all tiers.
We're a new product, built by people who'd rather tell you the truth than oversell you. The core of what we do — locking your notes, timestamping your evidence, keeping everything encrypted — is solid from day one; that's not what we're asking you to test. But a scan that flags the wrong thing, or a phrase that could be clearer — that's where your feedback matters. Report it, and you'll lock in Founding Clinic pricing for as long as you stay subscribed, even after standard rates go up. We can't promise perfection. We can promise we'll fix what you tell us fast, and we'll always be straight with you.
Solo injectors and independent nurse prescribers running the whole show themselves.
Solo practitioners who want automatic protection from unfair reviews on top of the essentials.
Growing multi-injector clinics and training academies with more than one pair of hands on the trolley.
Pricing is being finalised — leave your email and we'll set your practice up personally, no card required.
Checking each one, working out if it's worth a reply, drafting something safe to post — that's real time, and it doesn't stop when the clinic closes. Silver adds the Review Defence File: log a review and a reply is drafted for you, checked against your locked notes, with anything worth challenging flagged. Based on your last 30 days, that's the kind of evening you'd have got back.
Record Monkey runs on your own computer. Patient records never touch our servers — there's nothing of yours to breach on our end, because we don't hold it. This isn't a marketing line; it's the actual architecture.
Every note, complaint, and consultation logged through Record Monkey is chained with a SHA-256 hash to the entry before it. Alter or delete a past entry and the chain provably breaks — not a promise, something we can show you.
The browser extension only checks a page after you switch it on for that tab. Nothing runs in the background watching everything you type by default.
Because clinical data stays on your machine, you remain the data controller throughout — Record Monkey isn't a third party holding your patients' records. Full patient-file export (SAR/GDPR) is one click from the dashboard.
We're rebuilding the dental compliance product properly before it goes live again. Leave your email and we'll let you know the moment it's ready.
